Danish producer Tomas Barfod aka TomBoy created a sublime banger ‘Till We Die’ which felt very much in the vein of Swedish band ‘The Knife’. However what happened next transforms this banger to legendary status. London based Montreal Girl DJs Anstascia and Vivie-Ann also known as Blond:ish remix this tune into the stratosphere.

The Canadian duo start of with some melodic guitars and follow that with a tight and firm but bouncy bassline groove which keeps you moving much like the bassline in their Pete Tong essential tune ‘Lonely Days’ but more refined. They also choose some rather unconventional incidental synth sounds which make the song so much more capitivating.

On most occasions you would say less is more but the girls have gone for an epic 9 min mix and I for one am very glad they did, this song is so glorious you need all that time to ratchet up to the awesomeness and once you are there you just want to bathe in it’s glory for as long as possible.

Ol’ Tomas Barfod must be very pleased with what has been done with his creation.

You and I till the day we die. ~K
